It's Got To Be Love' by Prashant Kaul is a heartfelt story that talks about true love and most importantly friendship. Dev Sharma, the protagonist of the story from Chandigarh is a single child and an apple of his parents' eyes. Though Dev is an introvert by nature but as he shapes his personality later, it breaks his self-made cocoon and thus, he becomes quite popular after winning the silver medal in martial arts for his college. Dev falls in love with his junior named Carol. The magnificent aura around her makes it irresistible to pass by without noticing her. Dev is head over heels in love with Carol but she choose to name it just friendship. Her extra closeness with her friend Vaibhav discomfort Dev and later leads to a series of confusion and doubts that spoils relationship cord between Dev and Carol.

Just when Dev was falling apart he realized that first love is not always the last. His friendship with Vaani over social media and telephonic calls had blossomed and now it was turning into a love story. Unlike Carol, Vaani was a patient listener, genuine at heart and honest. Vikram, the childhood friend of Dev had also found love of his life, Radha. During all this while when everything was going alright, the constant presence of Carol in Dev’s dream plagued his mind with uncertainties. There was something special about Dev’s dream. His dreams had a connection with real life, not just to his but others too. Each night drifting to his dreams, he saw, Carol overshadowing Vaani, and suddenly Vaani is gone.
