Book Review of Vitamin H

Book Review of Vitamin H

Books are our best friends, especially during this quarantine period. Being an avid reader I keep searching for new books to delve into. While continuing my search I chanced upon a book by Mr. Abhishek Thakkar, named Vitamin H. Intriguing as the name sounded, I immediately placed my order.

What I received was a book consisting of 111 beautifully written quotes that could fill you up with positivity and hope, something that we definitely need during these times. This book is a place where the past, present, and future intermingle through the words of the author. The quotes not only inspire but tend to put a smile on your face when the lines echo your sentiments. The ruminations in the book are proof of the author’s mature outlook. Sometimes during the perusal of the book, I’d find myself nodding at the ideas since they were in sync with my musings.

Life is a string of experience and people should constantly learn from it, but being human it’s only natural that sometimes despondency does set in. During those times this book can act as an able companion to guide its reader out of the tunnel of darkness into an Eden of happiness. One of my favorite quotes from the book is:
“You cannot win if you lose your battles in your head.
Mind palace is the place where victory or defeat is conceived”

The fluidity of the thoughts that emanates out of the book is rousing indeed.

The book provides a burst of hope, optimism, and inspiration. I would surely recommend this dose of Vitamin H to everyone.

The book is available on Amazon, here is the link: https://www.amazon.in/dp/8193844696/
